Where I'm From

I come from one of those cliche small towns. It has 2 traffic lights, one entering town, and then one while your leaving town. Your house is more than likely larger than our City Hall. Its your typical little country town.
I grew up with pretty much the same people all my life. I was born in Orlando, Fl., and I spent 6 years in Ft. Lauderdale. I was there for grades K-3. I moved to Leesburg, Ga when my dad was transfered in 1997. It was a HUGE change. I went from growing up in a city with the same friends, to moving to the middle of nowhere and having to start my life all over again.
Growing up in a small town, everyone knows everyone. Everyone also knows everyone's business. So, when you grow up with the same people all your life, you eventually know their life story. It took me a while to get used to everyone knowing what was going on. My second day of school, everyone knew that I was the "new kid".
However, everyone I grew up with was extremely nice. I kept most of my friends through my school years. The first friend I made when I moved was Samantha. I am now going to be in her wedding this coming May. I did, however, lose some friends along the way.
Growing up in a small town, there really wasn't much to do. We passed time with eating at the same Mexican Restaurant, some mud bogging, going to see "haunted" churches, and anything else to terrorize our small town.
