The interview is with the drummer, Mercedes Lander, but the all girl metal band Kittie. They have a new record dropping on shelves February 20, and have just launched their new nation-wide tour.
In the interview, they cover how they found their two new members, Trish and Tiffany. They just had recently gotten into some legal issues, regarding their new record label "Kiss of Infamy". The old 80's rock band Kiss, pressed legal actions against the band to change the name, since Kiss owned the word "Kiss" in the entertainment industry. The girls then changed the name to "X of Infamy", with "X" being the international sign for "kiss".
They discussed how they fought to get out their old record label, Artimis Records. They now, run their own label, and have some projects of their own. They are now managing 3 upcoming bands.
