Oh, the internet.
The internet is pretty much taking over our lives. Never before have we been able to communicate with people across the world. Sooner or later, we will probably find Jesus' email.
Ok, maybe no that drastic.
However, it is making a huge impact on our lives. I always find myself crashed on my bed, just searching away on the web. The thing that is so addicting is that you can find ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING, on the web.
And now, the dreaded monster...
MYSPACE.
The place where 30 year old men have access to viewing a 14 year old girl, pretending to be 18, posing in front of her mirror in her new bikini.
NOT KIDDING.
I had a 38 year old man invite to his pool party.
Myspace is a guilty pleasure. You can't help but sign on every 15 minutes to see if someone has commented on your page or told you you look good on your new profile picture. It's almost this confidence booster to people. To some, its a huge game to see who can have the most friends.
I get made fun of. I am called the "myspace whore". I beg to differ. People from across the world can send you friend request. You either accept them, or deny them. I don't feel like I should tell someone "No! You can't be my friend!". So, I accept pretty much anyone who seems normal and around my age.
Just because I have 952 friends, doesn't mean I'm a whore.
