Reflection on English 1101

I thoroughly enjoyed my English 1101 class. I had a fantastic professor who helped me enjoy my learning experience. She would have us write about what we wanted to write about. She understood that we wouldn't enjoy writing if we were given a narrow topic of discussion. My favorite characteristic of my professor was that she was never the one to scold or put down our work. I feel that I did learn more grammatical lessons in 1101. When she would return our papers, we would have to go through and correct our errors through our handbook. I believe it was almost more of a creative writing course for me. I was able to chose my topics and actually enjoy writing my feelings on the subject. She provoked us to get in touch with ourselves. To write from our heart. Thats what helped me the most. I was writing about things I cared about.
